Army Open House 2012 + Caleb’s Birthday

Went with Ervin the lao da + Nicole the bimbo to AOH @ City last Saturday afternoon! :) Took this photo in front of some infantry tank, because Ervin’s gonna learn about this thing like, this week or something. So cool ^^ Oh, we had lunch at this nice jap cafe that sells mainly pasta at City Link Mall before going over; I love the soup pasta!!

Stuck around to view the indoor exhibitions and collected loads of badges and stickers from the army dudes on duty. And we made Ervin try out the IPPT challenge in front of super a lot of people at one of the stalls :p The performance at 4pm was delayed due to bad weather conditions, and the Red Lions (SAF professional parachuters) didn’t showcase because there were dark clouds :( I was quite disappointed, to be honest.

The public was encouraged to take photos with the soldiers, and this is the crowd that swarmed towards the Commandos o_o Even with Ervin, who’s quite tall and big, we had a hard time getting close to the Commandos. In the end, Josh had to detach himself from the group and walk towards us to take a photo, haha :)
